Leon Krier Salon & Lecture
Leon Krier Presents, Architecture of Community, a lecture and salon that will focus on the precepts of Traditional Urbanism that have become known as the “New Urbanism.”
Leon Krier will discuss Traditional Urbanism and its inherent ability to create community through its application of the knowable language of traditional architecture and urban morphology. In word and in graphic form, Mr. Krier will demonstrate how Traditional Urbanism is able to adapt to the contingencies of the modern world in order to address many of society’s current dilemmas of growth, deprivation and cultural irrelevance.
